Made by Leeds Animation Workshop, the film shares words and drawings from women and girls supported by, and working for, WGI projects. Projects were funded to offer flexible, holistic support and the film illustrates the difference that specialist services for women and girls can make. It gives a moving insight into how important the Initiative has been in helping projects support women and girls to grow. The film was created with the following seventeen WGI projects: The Angelou Centre, Aspire, A Way Out, Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid, Chayah Development Project, Leeway, The Nelson Trust, North Devon against Domestic Abuse, RISE, Saheli, SERICC, Sheffield Women &amp; Girls Recovery &amp; Empowerment Partnership, Southall Black Sisters, Women at the Well, Women’s Community Matters, Wild Young Parents Project and Young Women’s Outreach Project.The film about the Tavistock Project is a documentary outcome out of several zoom workshops “Leeds Animation Workshop” has done with women suffering from social issues. The animation is based on drawings from women and girls frequenting the workshops. I participated by helping with the animation and recording some music at home to support the film acoustically. Es entstand ihr erstes Musikvideo für das Stück “OUZO”.Wie fühlt man sich, wenn man beim Griechen zu viel Ouzo getrunken hat und danach nachts alleine nach Hause läuft? A collaboration with the Swiss newcomer jazz band “Mareille Merck - Larus” for their first music video. The song is called “OUZO” referring to the greek liquour. And how you feel walking home alone at night after drinking too much of it. It was all animated with yarn as their debut album is called “Fadenschlag”. The design of the movie was also used for the CD cover and a special hand seewed flipbook. Which are available at the bands shows. Alles ist mit Fäden animiert, als Referenz zum Titel ihres Debutalbums “Fadenschlag”. Das Design wurde ebenfalls für das CD-Cover und ein handgebundenes Daumenkino verwendet. Sie wollen einen partizipativen Prozess, in dem alle ihre Ideen und Wünsche einbringen können, was neu auf dem “Platzpark” entstehen soll. The interdisciplinary collective “Platzpark” asked me to design some short motion graphics to promote their ongoing participative project.The goal is to create a new public space on an abandoned carpark in front of Grabenhalle St.Gallen.The project wants to develop the space in participation with all the inhabitants around the area.
